"Where's My Water?" Launch

Disney brought Evolution LA on board to help launch their latest brand, "Where's My Water?".  With plans to move him beyond the mobile space, Disney asked us to develop the game's protagonist, Swampy, as their newest high-profile character.  To achieve this, we felt it was necessary to remove Swampy from his "game space".  Utilizing the clean aesthetic of a white cyc, and juxtaposing him with a live-action gator we created a fantastic, yet oddly believable, scenario that turned Swampy into something much bigger than a fleeting mobile app star.

Evolution LA created and produced a series of original shorts with this concept, introducing Swampy and his friends to the public. These, along with more traditional TV and Web marketing collateral, all produced by Evolution LA, helped push "Where's My Water?" to the number one spot on Apple's sales charts in it's first week.

Behind the Scenes Featurette

"Where's My Water?" is a physics-based puzzle game that features Swampy, a lovable alligator who loves to shower.  Disney has a strong track record of producing high quality mobile applications based on pre-established franchises.  "Where's My Water?", however, represents the first time that Disney has launched an original franchise from the mobile space.  While currently contained to your favorite mobile device, Swampy is destined for bigger things.  We at Evolution were happy to be there for the start of it all.
